Cleaning

The main point of a winter haul out is to clean the boat for the next season.  Cleaning also enables us to better see what repairs we need to make and it is just far nicer to work on a clean boat than one covered in mould and grime.

After work, Nic and Mark and I put up our new work tent.  There is no other way to ensure a dry boat in Auckland over winter.

Saturday
Reinforced the tent,  Removed the last of the rigging from the boat, began cleaning the interior.

Sunday
More cleaning.  Halfway through the interior, and half way through cleaning the deck.  Cleaning the hull and cockpit will be the reward once all the interior and the deck are complete.
